Quite pricey. I've gotten porsches and frerraris for cheaper, although that's been in Italy and Spain. There's no vrt on rentals in Ireland so can't blame thar.

FROM 700 per day. That is expensive but also only for the cheaper cars in the fleet Id say. Given that you must also have your own insurance, its a rip off IMO

Are the cars even in Ireland? The have the plates blocked and the pics look like they were taken in the UK.

Hmmm I can imagine if I ring up St.Pauls, Hello, I want to do a temp transfer for 24hrs from my 159 JTDm to a Ferrari 612... :)

    1) They'd hang up, or 2) I'd faint with the quote :D

Insurance would be a stumbling block imo....

700 euro a day can only go so far come on!!! you should be happy with a 911 GT3 for that money.if you want to rent a VRS then you better be ready to step up to the big league.

They seem to be all UK taxed cars from the pictures, customs will seize them if driven here once driver is Irish resident, regardless of whether it's rented or not.

seeing how theres no vrt on rental cars I would say this is some kind of scam by 1 or more wealthy people putting extiortionate prices and no insurance on their vehicles just to not pay vrt

The vrt relief was pretty tight on hire cars and I think vrt on the car value when leaving hire fleet has to be paid so what you suggest would not work. I think it has, or is being phased out completely also,

I doubt it. Many years ago I was getting the loan of a car for a friends wedding. I rang my insurance company, no idea who they where now, to see about transferring my insurance. I only had TPFT at the time and needed fully comp to get the car.

I explained what was happening and asked about how much it would cost for a new S Class AMG, which was the most expensive car I may have gotten, temp transfer and it was about £300. In the end I got an S320 for £150. Not exactly cheap but it was the wedding car

No bother once you're willing to pay.

I'd say that other car company, GM, might take exception to the name of this crowd as well. Something tells me this ain't genuine.

Must give my cousin a ring. If these lads are charging €700 a day for an Exige he'd probably get €500 for his Elise. :)

    Jokers......

No offence to Adverts.ie but why would you advertise such a high end service like that?

I dont know, seem like clever blokes. Have you never been browsing adverts for a nice 3k A4 and thought "do you know what I fancy doing now? , spending a grand having a go in a Porsche for a day"? :D
