Nu Shoz - Adizero Pro V Adios

So I've become an Adi fan over the last number of years and have raced in their Adizero cadence track and XC spikes. The Brooks ST4's are due an upgrade so I'm deciding between the super light Adizero Pro quoted at 180gms and the Adios quoted at 210gms, will be using for races up to the HM.
    Anyone experience either?

I have the Adios. It's hard to give a fair verdict as I think I foolishly bought them 1/2 size too small - no need to tell you Adidas is probably the narrowest fit of any shoe - and I'm getting slight chafing on my right little toe. Other than that they're lovely: light, snug and with a fair amount of cushioning given the light weight. (I make them 227g for a 9 1/2)
No danger of losing them either - they're not subtle.:)

Cheers - I'm a narrow fit myself and with Adidas showing a 44.5 for a UK 10 rather than 45 that you get with Nike - that really suits me.

Beepbeep67, you had the cadence, i'm just wondering could you use them for general gym work and light road running if you took out the spikes and just put the spikes back in for track running???

I suppose technically yes, would it be a good idea - probably not, you would need more lateral support for gym work and I would imagine you would wear down the spike plates pretty quickly road running in them.

I have both the Adios & the Pro. I went through a phase of getting really light shoes, but now know I'm better off with a little extra cushioning & support.

For me the Adios is the best all round racing shoe on the market. Ideal for anything from 5k to marathon. The Pro in my opinion is only suitable for 5k road races - I tried once in a 10k and my calves gave in after 8km.

    Simple answer: get the Adios

    Cheers and well done yesterday.
I got the Pro's and have used them for a track session - felt great, but wouldn't risk them over 5k they're bearly there, will try them in 2 miler next week.
Actually got the Mana's as they were on offer and more suitable for me for 10k to HM @ 244gms and decent support - have had them on 2 x 8 mile runs in them and no issues, will take them along for a spin on my next 10M + training run.

What do you think of the manas? Was looking at getting a pair of them myself. Only adidas shoe I've ever used is the tempo - my birthday is but a month away I need to add to my already long, shoe wish list.

Grand so far, similar fit to the Tempos, but about 80gms lighter, will get them on another few trainings runs an then use them for a 10k in a few weeks, so I'll report back.
