Photoshop - replace one color with another from the same jpg

    Hi there,
    I'm trying to use the Image -> Replace Color tool in photoshop cs5 to replace one color in a jpg with another from the same image.
    It wont let me. The new color has to be from the palate??
    Any idea's?

    I have photoshop open so excuse the pic in the background but below is a screen shot attached.

    You open up the palette but if you move your cursor above the colour you want in the image you will see the dropper tool, click the colour and that will automatically choose the colour you want from the palette.

    You may try Colour Match but it's going to require some work if you're working on one image. I'd select the object whose colours you want to be the source ones and then copy the selection into a new document, and select the target object and put it into a new layer, like this:

    Then, with the target object selected, go to Colour Match

    and choose the new document (untitled-1 in my case) as the source image
