I signed up for a 3 year degree which i completed the end of may. I have been seeking employment with no luck. I am planning on returning to college for a one year add on in september because there are no jobs at the moment.
My question is, am I entitled to claim the dole for the remaining time until I return to college.

So to clarify , I am finished college and im sure i can get a letter from college to prove this. And im looking to claim the dole until i return to college in september?

    Any help or informaton appreciated

Yes I did this last summer,

Just get a letter from the college saying your course is finished,

Then tell them when you've started back college, that you decided to go back to do another year add on course

You won't be entitled to Back to education or the book grant or anything like that but you'll get paid whatever you entitled to from when you sign on until you start back college/registrar.

Hi guys, hope ye don't mind me piggy backing in here. My OH's daughter has an exam to repeat next month for her 3rd year final exams - would she be entitled to sign on does anyone know? or would be still be considered a student?
