I priced one for a 00 leon here before. http://www.buypartsby.co.uk/
ceramic one came in at about 100 iirc.

Mine went before in my 03 Polo but the mechanic only had to replace a part in the convertor..you might be able to do the same..worked out at about 200 in total.
