    I know they've been talking about holographic video conferencing for a good while but to see it actually working so well in real time is incredible. Does anyone know when this sort of technology is going to be commercially available?

    Thats freakin awesome, think of the possibilities this technology will have (not just porn!). There will be virtually no need to invent teleporters. In the not too distant future, 3D images of ourselves could be guided via satellite through a real time live version of google "pavement view."
