    Hello,

I am trying to setup my dreambox with a 3G router, but the network setup is not working.

I have it set to DHCP, but still it fails all of the network tests - the information the dreambox shows is:

    IP192.168.137.146
    Netmask 255.255.255.0
    Nameserver 192.168.137.1
    Gateway 192.168.137.1

and here is a picture of windows ipconfig
    1zd9jmb.gif

What im trying to do is : 3G Router >> Laptop Bridge >> Ethernet Dreambox

I've turned on Internet connection sharing on the computer, but still no luck

is the dreambox using the right information to connect?

    cheers

I was trying the same thing with an Azbox running enigma2 and couldn't get it to work. I ended up getting a 3g router and all worked perfectly.

I asked about it on another forum and no one came back with an answer so i didnt try anymore, just got the router.

I'd nearly be happy with the 3g router now haha, in turkey on holidays and they cost x3 and are impossible to find - this is the only hope for the moment unfortunately

I stand to be corrected here mate but your DB is on the wrong network AFAIK
your3g looks like its reporting 46.155.69.96 and your DB is 192 etc etc

I would try setting your Db to 46.155.69.95 ?
    gateway to 46.155.69.97

again, not sure if Im way off the mark but i think your PC and DB are on the wrong network.
Did you manually install IP's for both PC and Db ?

looks like the router is not picking up and allocating to your machines.

sure try it anyway and see what happens
