After the big foul-up with the IC game, the first one day match is on today, we're 143-6 after 34 overs, looks like it might be an interesting game. Does anyone know when the IC match is going to be replayed?

A superb 86 from John Mooney saw Ireland through to 244 and win by 26 runs. 2nd game on Thursday

The ICC scheduled Ireland's home game against Canada for September/October.

Following that, I've looked at the fixture list, and Ireland don't seem to have any home games in either November or December, so I'm sure it could be slotted in then.

Good win yesterday, great stuff from Mooney, we could have been in real trouble but for him.

The other match is on today, we're on 93-2 chasing 175 in a reduced overs game. On a related note is this the first Namibian team not to have a Burger in it? :D

Ireland make the 176 with 44 balls to spare. Cusack 59no top scoring. Impressive stuff from the bowlers as well with Mooney adding 3-31 to his 86 knock with the bat yesterday.

All in all some good preparation for the games against Sri Lanka and Scotland next week

Have to say that we looked poor on Monday - Tuesday was a big improvement. Roll on next week.

Are you seriously suggesting a 4 day cricket match could be played in Ireland Nov or Dec:eek::eek:

    Why not?!

Players could wear One-day jerseys so they can be seen against the snow and the ball is red anyway for 4-day games. Just clear snow off run-ups and wicket.

Unless, of course, it continues to snow and/or rain, and/or drizzle, and/or mist in which case just forego home advantage and go to Namibia.
