silicon spray?

    my friend wants to use 3 in 1 professional silicon spray on his gun i was wondering if this is ok to use or could it harm the internals?

    i use something similar, if it has safe for vinyl & rubber then i think it should be safe enough. Some of the more experienced tech heads on the site hopefully will agree (or else all my hop up rubbers may need replacing :p )
