I was recently accepted into a Masters of Strategic Marketing, it states we have to do a thesis. Is this done during the year or the summer?

I’m currently working on my thesis, the majority of which is worked on during the summer. Dissertation preparation for my course started in January when we had to come up with our research proposal. We then had to submit a 6500 Literature review in early March (which is a part of the thesis). The rest of the thesis is carried out during the summer i.e findings, discussion, conclusion....

I am not doing the strategic marketing masters but I think most of the postgrad courses in the business school follow a similar timetable in relation to the thesis.
