    Don't take this the wrong way but I'm glad it happened to someone who could do something about it :o If it had happened to any one of us joe soaps we probably would never have caught the bugger and ended up paying a fortune in insurance hikes :( (Hope yours isn't affected btw and the Garda is ok!)

    As a Garda (not the husband!!) please help us to help you if this ever happens!! Before you even speak to the driver, get their numberplate!!!!

    The amount of calls that I've gone to and I've asked for details and I've been met with a blank expression or an answer like "it was red"!!!

    If you're lucky, there may be good quality CCTV or a witness but if not, it's going nowhere really unless your luck is in
