Great race today in fantastic weather! Does anyone know what the story is with this Munster League that is in the calendar? Apparently today's Munster Champs is round one of this league and that there are 2 more rounds? Anybody have any other info on this and if so where and when are the other races? Thanks in advance!

Cheers, I'd like to think so but born and bred in Ireland! Ya, TT was painful and in the end I didn't need to go so hard to take the win and was only seconds off the A1 podium too....the RR was tough alright, lucky to make the winning break of 11 riders (9 A1's, me the only A2, and a friend of mine on a one day licence in the A3 category). By the end it was down to 7 (6 A1's and myself) and they wanted me to lead it in because I had the gold medal regardless but I still wanted to get up in the uphill sprint and got 4th. The 4th probably doesn't matter unless the Munster Champs are indeed part of a Munster League!

Well done to yourself too! Read the race report, savage stuff! I knew you were strong when I met ya that time!! :)

I heard the next two Sundays are the 2nd and 3rd rounds of the league. According to the Commissaire, Blarney are supposed to be hosting it next weekend, but this was news to the guy running the sign on !! And it might be the blackstone bridge circuit (?)

I guess it will appear on a certain cycling related website during the week !!

fair play to you. i suppose aaron buggle is one of you rivals so for your age group. he looked fair strong yesterday as did Damien Shaw who has the upper torso physique of a flippen weightlifter by the looks of it.

you might let me know if there's racing around Munster on Sunday or midweek as I'm down for a week on Friday. or if you fancy a spin. cheers.

Sweet thanks for that, was gonna do the Mullingar 2 day but will probably do the league instead. Let me know if you come across any more info, if not I'll give Dan Curtin a buzz to see what the story is. Cheers

Ya he'll be one of my rivals alright but very few races actually have an U23 category anyway! Yeah Shaw is strong as an ox in every way I'd say!!

Cool, it looks like there could be another Munster league race on Sunday, midweek there is a training race on Wednesday near Bunratty, and if Limerick CC start up their's again by next week it is on Tuesday near Birdhill. Both 7pm, sure I'll probably meet up with ya for a spin if you like keep in touch cheers.
