Could someone suggest a system to detect and record possible trespass in a remote area?

    1. Motion activated
    2. Battery/solar powered
    3. Discreet
    4. Outdoor operation

    Thanks!

Do you want this to trigger anything or just record locally?

Do a search for Trail camera or Game camera.
These are exactly what you are specifying, some even shoot in Infrared.

Record locally primarily. Though ability to send MMS would be good if not too expensive.

Thanks for that - they seem to be in the right ball-park. Anyone got experience as to how well these things work in real life?

Google game camera pics to see what kind of resolution different models have.
