Hello :) We are converting a Transit Van into a camper and need about 6ft of worktop for it. All the new ones we've seen are huge and expensive - has anyone any ideas where we might get an off cut?
We're in the Galway area, thanks for any ideas!

B and Q sell it in shortish lengths. I think 10 feet or something like that.

    Otherwise, try O'Higgins in Shantalla.

I've got about 5 feet of worktop sitting in the shed if it'll do.

You could make it out of any timber if you where so inclined. Just stick some boards together plain it down flat and you've got yourself a fine timber counter for a decent price.

Thanks so much for your replies, def need 6 foot but thanks anyway fago!
B & Q stuff seems quite chunky and we probably want the lighter/thinner one to keep the weight down. Will try O'Higgins! :)
