Backup wedding gear

Had a wedding on Friday up in Farnham Estate up in Cavan, everything went well up till the formals when the battery door on the 5d kept opening and shutting the camera down. Switched over the lens to the 1dmk3 and I have a Canon 550d in backup also so just a lesson in having enough gear to do the job. Put the battery grip back on for the wedding the next day and not a problem with the 5d.

On another note thought the performance of the 550d was superb including the video end of things

This is why you should always have duct tape in your bag

Duct tape might have fixed it metal on the inside came away with a spring and the catch

If the battery door mount is broken its pretty cheap to replace so if you need parts let me know and Ill see what I can do to help

Its the door itself thats gone t**ts up, no hassle just put the battery grip on and it was sorted. I must talk to you about something else though.

You can get genuine battery doors here cheap enough if you ever want to replace it.
