A friend of mine has some very good working terrier dogs that he would like to breed with. If any one has a good working bitch or knows someone that has one and wants to breed her, please contact me
    Cheers

LOL maybe there all related in some way;) problem with Ireland nearly all the working terriers are related somewhere down the line. Not a huge variety of breeding here thats most lads bring them in from the UK and vis versa.

Then again as you mentioned if there as good as he says and he is in the working dog community he shouldn't have a problem.

Dec try thehuntinglife.com theres a few lads north and south that ive met on it who have hard diggers;)

That's exactly the problem, all his dogs are from the same line, as are most of the dogs near him. He was never really bothered about breeding them, but we were talking about it today and he asked me to ask some of you guys.
I couldn't really say he's in the working dog community, he just has a few terriers for doing small beats and for digging burrows. We got 2 cubs with them today, I shot 1 that they drove out of cover and we dug out the other cub that they killed inside the burrow. They were some operators inside in the burrow

Well each to their own but cubs are no test of a dog,2 or 3 dogs in ground together is no test either.Try em in december or january in ground on their own with a hyped up dog fox and if you still think they were some operators maybe they will be worth breeding from.

These dogs work all year round and have killed hundreds of foxes. I've never seen them work individually and to be honest they're the only ones I've worked with as I always hunt foxes with the same bunch of lads, but I still think they're good.

What kind of mix are these - fox, irish, wheaton or patterdale terriers??

I've found Cairn crosses are good for outing foxes at my end:)
