Has anybody used a disposable camera lately and know how much the pictures cost to get developed? Im bringing some disposable cameras to oxegen instead of my digital camera because I'm afraid of my life i'll lose it!

Just curious to know how much... Its going to be exciting getting pictures printed again without being able to constantly look over them! Oh the thrill..its been years! :pac:

Unless your camera is worth over €500 you would be better of bringing it, chances of it getting lost are slim. It would cost about €20 for every 24 photos developed and quality is rubbish. I'd rather buy something lile this 12 megapixel camera for €59 then spend the same getting 3 cameras of rubbish quality developed http://www.argos.ie/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Search?storeId=10152&catalogId=13352&langId=111&searchTerms=5594171&authToken=

if it was me i'd probably go with a cheapo compact too, but the above poster suggesting it costs €20 film development must be living somewhere very expensive indeed

it costs €2.95 for a 36 shot roll in the local pharmacy here in the middle of nowhere. that's development only, i scan the negs myself and only print what i need to. in short - the compact point and shoot is what i would do - just know that the suggested €20 is codswallop

Thanks for the advice guys. I have one disposable camera here at home so i'll bring that anyway and ill have a think about either bringing my camera or going halfsies on a cheap one with my friend.

I did think that €20 sounded a bit outlandish alright, haha
Cheers again for yer help :D

Another option is to have them developed and put on a CD by the Pharmacy, approx cost is about 8euro all in.
