How to make documents available online?

    Hey folks.

I want to share some of my college exam revision notes with some class mates(they have repeat exams looming!), however I expect over the next couple of days, that more than the initial two subscribers will be asking for a copy of these notes.

Originally I was going to scan the revision notes and then attach them to an email.

However it seems like a good opportunity to learn a bit of web publishing, so how would I go about creating a platform where anybody who wished to view documents could do so?.

Unfortunately I don't have any programming skills yet, so are there any user friendly websites/programmes to help me.

Nothing fancy is required just a basic platform to facilitate making information available.

Just use dropbox and share the folder where the documents are to other people. Can be setup in 10 seconds if you're already on dropbox.

also, an option is to pop them into google docs and share them out from there.

if you wan't to dabble with a website, then try google sites for something that is quick and easy, has templates and is completely web driven.

Google docs limits the numbers who can see your document. Try scribd.com or docstoc.com
