If anyone is interested the Three counties spaniel club is having a competition at Carrigfest next weekend on the 9/10th July in Carrigtwohill, Co Cork.
There will be a Puppy Test, Novice and Open Test

Also on Sunday there is a Clay Pigeon Shoot by Mr. Jim Davis & Mr. Gregg Hodnett

might dust off the 16 bore and enter, but will need some practice !

What times are the spaniel events on, they never publish the times of any of the events beforehand and its a pity.

    Hi There,
Bit of a newbie so was wondering if anyone could tell me what is involved in the clay shoot comp. Ie how man clays. I take it that is a large selection of targets from rabbits to crossers etc. How does the scoring work.
    Also how much to enter.
    Thanks
    Peter

Last year it was 5 stands, 10 clays each, not sure but it could be something like 5 euro per stand. They had a bolting rabbit, springing teal cock and hen etc..
