It was like Zoffany didn't want to go by the other horses

Brown Panther went for the German Derby today. After the last performance he was quite entitled to step into Group company but straight into Group 1? And he was the clear favourite today, on the back of an impressive handicap win at Ascot!

I can't work out what your trying to say with all the rolleyes. I can't discriminate between truth and sarcasm...Have you actually made a point or are you just saying words?

On the subject from my point of view, he travelled like the best horse in the race and may have got tired and was run out of 3rd on the line. Very respectable performances though the race could have come a little too soon after his Royal Ascot exploits. Maybe a shade of excuse making? I don't know.

It was a G1 but more G2 at best.

Just beaten for forth Nulty. All of those German races tend to be as weak anyway. Their Guineas isn't even a group 1.

I think it is ridiculous that he was such a strong favourite for the race. Most of the horses in the race had Group experience and some were group winners so why was Brown Panther 7/4 favourite, The race couldn't have been that bad.

Waldpark, the winner travelled like the best horse in the race.

You notice the british feel their racing is superior to that in any other country, markets generally show this - World Cup this year is a prime example...
BP wasn't without a chance but the 2 week back up was just a bit quick for him I feel.

That's true. Twice Over being 2/1 was laughable especially when Gio Ponti is about 14/1.
