Hi just looking for a bit of inspiration on a colour scheme for a tuxedo for a debs ball. My date has bought a navy dress so that puts black out the window :). She mentioned a purple tie but other than that i am unsure. Should i go with a navy or grey tux ?

Navy suit with a navy tie and white shirt would look nice.. Grey would also go with navy. As long as it's not black it should be fine! If you're really worried about how it would look with the dress then ask your date and see what she thinks! I'm sure once you turn up on time in any sort of a suit she'd be happy! :P

I think purple would look a bit out of place with a navy dress?

    Dont match her dress colour
colors are pink, hot pink and navy. ... I think cream, fuchsia and other shades of blue would also compliment navy! ...
Ask your date what she'd like you to wear...choose together...thats what ive done :)
Girls tend to know what they want their date to wear anyway so ask her is my advice
