I've just upgraded by standard sky box to a Sky HD box.

I do not have the Sky HD package.

I've been able to able ITV HD using the Frequency sticky here and I've also read the various threads in relation to BBC HD and Channel 4HD.

Unfortunately I'm having problems getting either of them up and running on my sky box.

I'd really appreciate it if someone could give me a dummies guide to getting BBC HD and Channel 4 HD running on my sky box.

    Thanking you in advance.

Seriously? A Sky fta card will give me Channel 4HD but the premium card won't? Well that's just f*cking stupid.

Any reason why this is the case?

Quite simply bbc1hd ch4hd & ch5hd are meant for UK only not ROI.

What happens when the rest of the UK HD Channels adopt the same set up as BBC1HD, CH4 hd and the SD versions gradually close down. Might be a problem then possibly?

I have the Sky package though so it wouldn't really make much sense to get a freesat receiver!
