I did Computer Science which CCNA was apart of for first two years. CCNA is definitely worth doing I think, PC Maintenance is kind of easy tbh. ITB is thje main center for CCNA in Dublin so I heard.

    Hope this helps!

I am currently on the comp science course. Just starting 3rd year.

I have done what you will be doing.

CCNA can be tough at times, other bits can be less tough. PC maintenance is also a Cisco course I think. Its relatively easy.

What exactly would you like to know?

As i am working casual shifts, i might be unavailable for some days, how it is going affect me? (i know that some lecturers doesnt like that, and may have some trouble later, when after something). Social welfare want me working and pay tax, than attend clases.

what learning materials i'll have to get? is that ccna books over 1k pages ? and cost massive money.

Also, will lecturers give just some chapters what have to learn, what leads me to study rest week at home till next lessons.??

    thanks

I can't answer that as I am doing the full time, but for me, the lecturers don't mind people not coming in. They look at it, as your an adult and its your problem if you miss class (Well most my lecturers are like that).

You can get the CCNA book online. You may only do basic stuff of the CCNA. I wouldn't worry about learning material, most is either given out by lecturers or can be gotten online from Moodle and from the Cisco site (http://www.cisco.com/web/learning/netacad/index.html) You get registered by a lecturer on that site ;)

Some do, some dont. Depends on the lecturer. Normally, we do 1 chapter a week on my course.

You still would have had to taken a test and get 70% to get the CCNA cert ;)

Also, yeah I agree with ye, wish I had given it more attention too..
