For the extra few cents I always get ndc milk. It's also better milk in that its from cows with better diets

I'm a mother of 4 with a husband who has been unemployed for 2 years so I don't have the luxury of choosing ndc or non ndc I need the cheapest. Iceland in the Maple ctr does 2 litres for 99c

Firstly its not just a few cents its about 50 cents and thats just going on basing the difference on the shops own brand of milk at 1.49.

Secondly, Can you provide proof that its better milk and the cows diets are better.

Personally 50 cents is 50 cents and it mounts up when your on a budget. As for taste, Ive found no difference!

In fact one third of the price....significant difference.

To break even in 2009, based on the winter Dairy Profit Monitor and National Farm Survey data, liquid milk producers will need an
annual average milk price of 34c/l. The summer prices, currently being negotiated, will need to reach at least 26c/l to allow
producers cover their costs until September next.
    ...
We estimate that dairies could be pocketing up to 47c/l at
current retail and farmer prices, and retailers around 27c/l.
This is a gross margin of over 48% for dairies and 27% for
retailers, a multiple of costs for both.

Who cares. Let's keep them in the jobs instead of our own. Any luck it will be 50c soon and another few thousand unemployed can reap the reward.
