I like Marks and Spencers flesh-coloured tights.

M&S do 'bare cooling leg' tights which are very natural looking and comfortable to wear. They're about 7 euro per pair.

I love Penneys Luxury Glossy Tights, 2 pairs for €3 i think! My friends always think I'm barelegged when I wear them!

I swear by the dunnes 'nude' ones in the blue packet, sandal toe tights, and I'm ghostly white!

Hi - I also love the M&S ones the 7d autograph range, and for more money the Aristoc nude ones are lovely - blue packet.

Never tried Penny's for sheer ones, might give them a go. at 3€ it's worth a shot.

M & s and Aristoc range are the ones to go for in my opinion. The Penneys ones are just too glossy, they make peoples legs look like sausages (can't explain, they just remind of the look of a shiny sausage):D. The colour is natural but the gloss makes it so obvious you're not bare legged. Last year they had matte ones and they were soo good, tried all the Penneys up and down the country but nothing but glossy this year. M & S definitely have lovely natural tan/nude with two or three in a pack and a decent price.

My friend swears by the 5 in a white Tesco value style pack for €2 from Penneys, I've tried them and they honestly look amazing but you only really get three 3 or so wears out of them :)

I'm going to try all the other recommendations too, I'd love ones that last a bit longer. I feel so guilty binning them! :o

I love the Marks and Sparks ladder resist tights (because I've managed never to ladder them which is pretty amazing for me!) and I love their open toed tights too. They come in a colour that actually matches my deathly pale skin tone which makes me terribly happy. :D

I always buy them in M&S. I have a few of the ladder resist and the bare cooling ones. They last really well, but i always hand wash them to help them last that bit longer.

Oh yes - great tip, if you hand wash + drip dry you get literately twice the number or wears. (Unless you get a rip or ladder!).

I nearly asked someone in town yesterday where she got her tights, they had a really nice finish, not shiny at all but just a subtle sheen. I didn't in the end.

I don't hand wash mine - I can't be bothered for a few euro - but I put them in a mesh washing bag and always drip dry. They seem to be fine, get lots of wears anyway.

I'll be taking these washing tips on board! My nude ones would ladder so easily, so going to wash them in a lingerie bag in future!

Pretty Polly do them, and I think Jonathan Aston, but I couldn't find a pair when I wanted them last year. However the internet has them :)

I haven't ordered from that site but I think they are legit.

This site can be good -

    http://www.legslove.ie/

And it's Irish (recession and all :))

    Also another is uktights.com

Although I haven't used it, they have a big range. There are lots to choose from:

Thanks Jamilla -- our best sellers this summer so far are the Pretty Polly Natural Open Toes in tan

+1 on the M&S tights. Bare tights, with a cooling finish. They have little grips on the bottom of the foot. €5.50 a pair but they do last.

Tip: spray tights with some hairspray and they'll last a while longer!

    +1

This really does work & clear nail varnish over the start of a ladder stops it from running any further.
