Would appreciate a tip from anyone with experience.

I'm working with an aggregate dataset, and a number of my variables are proportions (i.e. characteristic x as a proportion of total). The literature mentions a number of issues with scaling when using variables of different units, but doesn't mention diagnostics.

Just wondering if anyone has come across this before.
