    Hi all,

Just looking for feedback on the above bike. I dont not a budget in mind and to be honest, I shouldn't be looking to buy another bike but I figure Id get some good use out of this and get some long comfortable spins under my belt.

I'm not too up on the roadie component lists but Apex stuff cant be bad can it ?

If you were to upgrade anything, what would it be ??

Size wise, Im not too sure. I have a Giaint Rapid M/L and Im 5ft 11. MTB wise Im comfortable with 18/19".

Suppose I should ask........... is there anything else worth consideration ? Pref is to spend as little as possible but get the best bang for buck.

    Cheers

Very similar to the 6.0 (which I have). From initial looks it seems like the only real difference is the groupset. Weight is more or less the same (carbon forks, alu frame), wheels are the same. I'm not familiar with the apex stuff so can't comment on it. The 6.0 comes with part 105 and part ultegra. 900 quid for an 8KG bike is very good value though.

The tyres, stem, saddle and seatpost are different. THere's also the option of getting the 6.0 in White. It's any colour so long as it's black for the 5.0.

OP, if you've got and like Shimano go with the 6.0. If you couldn't care less go with the 5.0. I have sram (not apex though) and I really like it.

Also, I really like Canyon (I have 2). Excluding the odd one-off bike deal here and there you are unlikely to find a better bike for that price.

Just want to say a good word for Apex - I put it on a new bike a couple months ago cos it was the cheapest 10spd group available, and I absolutely love it. Have Ultegra on my main bike and I almost prefer Apex to it, I'd certainly prefer SRAM over Shimano on any future bikes. So don't be put off by the fact that the 5.0 has a "cheap" groupset!

I read on boards before that Canyon did a special offer last year when the TDF was on. Any sign it might happen again this year ??

    thanks for the replys.
