Hi, Just wondering if this is normal......I applied for a position in a college around 5 weeks ago but have heard nothing back since. I emailed their HR a couple of weeks ago and didn't get a reply from that either. It would be nice to just get the standard rejection letter instead of nothing!

I would try ringing them, if you are nice and polite on the phone people will normally look into it for you.

I presume you were applying for a job as opposed to seeking a place on a particular course ?
If the former then just ring and ask them though given a 5 week delay I would not be terribly optimistic.
