    Hi
So after some advice on here I went and got some lessons
So far so good -Still not there on consitency but I can hit some sweet shots now and I actually realise what I should be doing and have an idea of what I did wrong if a shot does not come off.

All great stuff -One of the things the instructor changed was my grip ,straight off I can see improvments with this new grip -but I find the grip very unnatural and uncomforttable and as such I find I have to fight to keep the grip in place.

Is this natural and that over time I will get accustomed to the grip or should I be asking the instructor for a different grip ?

Stick with you new grip, it takes time to bed it in. Don't ask your instructor for a different grip.

do people have an opinion on which grip, inter-locking or overlapping, is better.
i find the overlapping more comfortable, but it seems all the golfers i admire, Tiger, nicklaus and Rory, use the inter-locking...

Neither is better, use the one you prefer. Most pro's use overlapping AFAIK.

Regarding changing your grip its just a matter of getting used to it. Keep holding a golf club with the new grip as much as you can, you'll get used to it soon enough.
