Where can I buy AoE2 digitally ? ( so i can download )

Hey folks,

looking to start playing Age of Empires 2 gold edition again Now I must have bought this game like 3 or 4 times since it's release and the disks end up scratched or loaned out etc etc. Also it's not stocked in my local shop so just wondering if there is anywhere that I can buy it online, pay for it and download it ? Had a look myself but couldn't find anywhere, but maybe a few of ye know of some websites that I don't? Can't believe it's not on steam, it's awesome Don't want a pirate copy, want to buy the real thing. Thanks

the only place i know of is game.co.uk subs service.

its not on the download to own for some reason.

this way of course means you have to pay a monthly amount but you get to play lots more games.
