Hey, I'm new in this forum, and quite new to boards generally...
Thought you might be interested in seeing these pics which I took recently after a MASSIVE thunderstorm!
I think they are mammatus... They lasted about 10 mins and then dissapated. My face was like  for those 10 mins!

Pics were taken last Tuesday just outside Maastricht in Holland...

The thunderstorm was intense with lots of fork lightening... Temperature before the storm was 38C and afterwards about 18C!

They forecast 5cm diameter hail-stones too! Luckily they didn't materialise!

Saw these over Letterkenny in April. Are they Mammatus clouds?

They were part of this overall system

There were 2 patches of cloud that looked like mammatus clouds.

There was some of these clouds over east Kilkenny around 7pm. Obviously nowhere close to being as exaggerated as seen in the Netherlands.

Even in the Netherlands they are very rare ... But beautiful none the less :D

The mammatus shown on pics from ireland are common enough here
