    Which accommodation place is best for first years? In terms of nice rooms and other first years who don't know anyone?

    It depends on yourself, you should still get a place in corrib village. I stayed there last year and pretty much hated it and didnt make to many friends there.

    Corrib village seems to be the main place for 1st years. Or dun na coiribe, but they're more than likely booked up at this stage (usually in March for the following academic year)/.

    Try daft.ie, or the galway advertiser. I lived in lower Salthill in 1st yr, a bit of a pain in the wind and rain trying to get to college, but then again i didnt try too hard to make it into college on rainy days!
