Entry on bank statement

    Would anyone know what these lines on a bank statement mean:

    (date) Interest Rate
    (date) Credit @ 1.000%
    (date) Lending @ 12.200%

    The three dates are the same. There's no corresponding amounts.

    This is there way of informing you of a rate change...

    Thanks for the reply and sorry for my ignorance but that doesn't fully explain it for me! What might it apply to? Only loan I have is a mortgage.

    The rates for the current (or maybe it's a deposit) account in which the entries appear.
