If you're looking for directions then there are a couple of walking in Ireland books available in bookstores or on Amazon. With them, good weather and basic navigation (e.g map & compass) you'll be fine for most of the hikes. Lug in particular from Fentons pub is very straightforward, a mostly clear track and mostly straight line.
