Hi to all. I recently down loaded this app and either I'm making a mistake in the settings or the program is flawed. The issue relates to windage, it seems that the windage is no set up properly IMO. If you create a profile for a standard round and save it with zero wind with zero wind angle for a standard 100 yard zero, the program will correctly calc the drops in both the ballistic charts and in the "easy to use" heads up display (HUD).

However if you set the distance in the HUD to match the sighting in range and play with the windage speeds you note that the adjustment values don't change because the app assumes that you are adjusting your sighting in conditions and the windage at the zero range doesn't change. The trajectory alway places the round right through the zero mark at you zeroing range irrespective of the windage inputs. So unless I'm missing some thing then this program doesnt work correctly IMO. In all the ballistic programs have I have never seen this. For this reason I would advise you to keep your money and avoid this app.
I love to hear from some one else who has this program to here their opinion.

    Thanks

i'm using the same app and i find it to be excellent. maybe the data you're putting in is wrong
if you put in your wind speed as 10 mph @ a 90 degree angle, and have the wind position at the muzzle, then also go in to spin and stability, turn on calculate spin drift and calculate stability and have the drift is zeroed function off, then enter your twist rate.
when you have this stuff done, then select your bullet or load from the library, enter your m.v. (if your using one of the library loads it does this automatically),your sight height, your zero range, max range, and range increments, then hit calculate trajectory.
when you get your drop chart you save it to your favourites. you then go to your hud, go in to settings, select your ballistic profile, and away you go, everything should work as required. at least thats how it works for me any way.
try that and let us know how you get on
