Would anyone be able to help me out. Does anyone know of a reconstructed Mesolithic hut anywhere in Ireland. I know a lad in Mayo was up for building a bronze age house but I need something destinctivley Mesolithic. Would offer a few quid for the use of it for a few days.

Much smaller structures that the Mount Sandel finds. Its partly conjecture of course but very high quality conjecture at that.

I can certainly provide the space (in S.Wicklow) and some of the resources (F.O.C.) if you can provide the know-how.
PM me if this might work for you.

:(Hey Slowburner, I replied to your message but you didnt reply back :(. I ended up in Wicklow Gaol anyway. Had a smelly weekend. Living in a famine period gaol is not half as historically romantic as I had hoped.

Bad food, sleeping on a stone floor and wet hay, daily punishment, ill fitting trousers and gettign dowsed in ice cold water.

I think I still have a lung infection of some sort

Bummer - I've forwarded the pm I sent on the 12th of July - don't know why the pm didn't get to you. Post here if the message doesn't get to you today.

That message is still coming up as unread. The offer still stands if it's any good to you.
