    Hi everyone,

I recently had an interview with State Street, about 4 days ago. They said that they would get back to me shortly. I was just wondering if anyone knew how long/quick they get back to people who have been successful? Just so I know when to give up hope :o

Yeh, usually if I dont hear from a place after a week I just take it that I was unsuccessful.

What position did ye go for?

I know someone that has an interview there this week for Senior Fund Accountant so they must be hiring a lot of people at the moment.

I waited 5 months for one job, seriously its not unusual to wait that long.

Yep I went for Fund Accountant, entry level, so I'll give it another bit before admitting defeat :)

It wasnt too bad, a couple of tricky questions but mostly fair.

For the job I started last week, it was 3 and a half weeks between interview and offer. 10 days after the interview I phoned them to ask if there were any updates, and they told me that they were still making some assessments and that they were being slowed down by having lots of staff on holiday.

Bump, just wondering if anyone knows anyone that has heard back from State Street? I emailed HR last week just looking for feedback and they said that they would be back to candidates hopefuly sometime during last week.

Hi billie, I currently work for SS and it was approx 3-4 weeks before I heard from them after the interview. I like it here, but let's just say if they tell you they'll call you on Friday, you're more likely to hear from them the following week ;)
