Do they ever have men vs. women matches?

Even just for the craic, like exhibition matches. I know they'd never put men against women competitively, but even just for show. I'd love to see the best women players like the Williams' (when they're in top form) against the best men. I remember a couple of years ago Serena Williams saying that she'd be able to play and beat many of the top male players. I'm not sure how true that is, but it'd be fun to watch nonetheless.

I can only think of two such games -

Bobby Riggs V Billie Jean King

And Jimmy Connors V Martina Navratilova

I doubt it's happened very often that such a match is staged.

Serena has a lot of power but she wouldnt have the speed and agility to beat any top 100 men. I would actually think that an in form Venus Williams would be suited better to playing against the men.

they wouldnt stand a chance add another zero to that figure. thats in no way sexist but is fact. andy murray reckoned top 1000, john mcenroe stated top 600 or something. most half decent collegiate players would beat them.

I fully agree. I was just trying to put a loose rational to it.

In 1998, Karsten Braasch beat both the Williams sisters in one afternoon. 6-1 and 6-2 respectfully. He was ranked 203.
