I hear one group is, then another group is referred to as Ireland's most vulnerable? Who is it? Pensioners? Unemployed? Disabled?

    Who is Ireland's most vulnerable?

I'd say it's the disabled, as well as those in care. Wo knows what mistreatment they face behind closed doors?

Banks, clearly. The oldies, the disabled enjoyed cuts to their enormous social payments, the homeless people gave up several funded projects etc so that the banks could be helped out in their time of need.

Pretty clear if you ask me.

It's more mental mistreatment than physical, some of the care workers are just pricks, some of them can get pretty damn rough though when they're restraining kids.

People who work, might have been said before but v true imho.
Im fortunate enough to get the Dole now and am lucky to get it, but if your working now theres really not much of a point to it unless you really have to or have a great job.

I might be picking you up wrong. Are you saying that it's better to be on the dole rather than a low paid job?

There can't really be a 'most' vulnerable group. Different groups are vulnerable for different reasons.

They're not mentally deficient, they've taken the country for a fortune through Dail wages and pensions. Arrogant? Definitely. Stupid? I doubt it.

Different circumstances for different people, its ok if your single and have no kids, but i know many friends who married with kids, sometimes wonder is their worth time working when the career doler down the road could get their doc and school fees paid with med card..

Well in any society it's vulnerable members are living on the margins of society. They are all vulnerable in different ways, its hard to say what would be the most vulnerable but people especially children, and older people are more vulnerable than others.

Anyone with a health problem, physical disablity and mental health problems are very vulnerable. Homeless people are another vulnerable group. People and families living in poverty. People who an addiction. Children in care and adults who have been in care as children are vulerable. Ethnic miniorities and asylum seekers would be another vulnerable group. Women in crisis pregancy and those who are experiecing domestic violence. The unemployed. prisoners and ex prisoners also live in the margins. Anyone who is experiences social isolation also
