List of engineering companies

What is the best way to get a list of engineering companies in a said area or city? Any help is appreciated. Most recruitment agencies dont list the company name, this is my problem

Mod OP the guys are right, internet is the best way of doing this, or else a list of companies off a registrar of some sort (I'm sure there is a company index)

Apologies OP, just having a bit of sport, just coming to end of a 3 week shift and have found out that my flight has been pushed back for another week, needed a distraction.
Best bet is google to be honest, type "engineering companies sydney" for example and go from there, used to be the case that if you tried "top 50 construction companies" or similar that some engineering students had a list going that was useful. Put aside a day, grab a computer, a pen and paper and go for it. Also get on seek.com write down names of companies advertising and look up company details, find address' that way.

i am doing the google option and so forth but its worth a go asking as some1 may have some info that can help. if u never ask den you wont know
