Just back from a wedding there last weekend!

Hotel is lovely, I found the staff really nice. Rooms, even with the 'special' wedding rate were relatively expensive, with no cheaper options if it was for a single occupant. I know a few people found that kinda bad.

For the actual wedding, I thought it was lovely. The function room upstairs looked really nice. The staff were still putting finishing touches on it right up to the last minute though. The ceremony was in the room where we had the reception, and throughout you could hear glasses and plates clinking in the kitchen, but if you're getting married elsewhere and just having your reception there, that wouldn't be an issue.

The food was AMAZING, really really gorgeous. The wait staff were really nice and sound. The next day there was a BBQ laid on as part of the rate and wow, seriously tasty.

It was my brothers wedding and I know he and his wife really thought that the planner they had was lovely, he seemed totally on top of things, which was great.

Plus it being Doolin there are lots of cheaper options for b&bs for people to stay in since there's only like 17 rooms in the hotel or something.

Not sure what the photo options were, since it was spilling so all of them were taken inside so it wasn't ideal...

    Overall, I really liked it.
