Fun songs to play on guitar

Recently I just haven't been playing as much guitar as I'd really like to and as a result I'm a lot worse on the guitar than I used to be and my repertoire is considerably smaller. Now I want to rebuild and hopefully get back to the standard I was or better but I'm struggling to think of good, fun songs to play on guitar...

What songs are good fun to play/learn? I'll attempt any standard or any genre. I'd generally prefer electric but if anything acoustic particularly tickles my fancy I'd give it a go too

If youre into sort of modern funk, there was a local band round a while ago that were quite decent, you could try some of their stuff ? think they were called "Sombrero Sunset" ?

alot of the early rem stuff is nice to strum and sing along to

if we are talking proper playing I'm a big fan of the unforgetable fire by u2 (yes I know bobo is an ass)

have a look at smashing pumpkins siamese dream album
cherub rock is a favourite of mine.

neil young 'needle and the damage done', 'out of the blue into the black'

I know it's fairly worn out at this stage but 'Thunderstruck' by AC/DC is a bit of criac to play and it looks impressive even though it's fairly handy. The main riff is a good picking exercise too!Or for a good jazzy chord workout you could learn 'Virtual Insanity' by Jamiroquai!
