    Would it be OK to use heavy clear plastic for lining a small pool?

    Not really no. It's better to go for a pvc liner specially made for the job. 25 year guarantee and looks so much better. Relatively cheap too (approx 40 euro for a 2m x 3m pack)

    A butyl liner is what people reccomend these days..i have a small section left over if anybody wants it.
