    Hey Foks,

Does anyone know where you can get Lactate testing/VO2 max testing done around Munster? Any idea of how much it costs?

    Cheers!

Don't know what part of munster you're in but I got it done in http://www.leinstersportsclinic.ie/ which is very close to Tipp?? (near Durrow Co Laois)

Chris knows his stuff and though I can't remember the cost now I thought he was good value at the time

Thanks Dusty! Ill be sure to check them out! I found a place in UCC that does it (€120 for lactate and VO2 test). Im from COrk so it might save me the petrol to Durrow!:D

    Thanks again man!

UL do it too. I believe Antonia Rossiter is the person to contact there.

I heard a rumour that the new gym in Tuam (Total Fitness Solutions) is doing it too. Not sure though.

Why do you want the testing done?
People often blow money on lab testing to find out things that they can determine in a more appropriate and relevant fashion in the field. I suppose I'm asking is there a specific reason for the tests.

Lab testing can give vital information but the standard tests are, IMHO, not worth the cash or that useful.
