48-year-old Australian, Rodney Scott McLagan has admitted in court to downloading octopus porn as well as other bestiality images and clips including ponies, tigers and snakes.

McLagan claimed that he searched for bestiality on the internet because he had a low self-esteem due to a personality disorder and thought that he was nothing more than "some sort of beast".

McLagan also admitted to possession of child pornography, although his lawyer stated that he only looked at 20% of it and never actively searched for it, it just came bundled together with his animal porn.

If you view an image on your computer, it's counted as downloaded in the eyes of the law.. It has to be downloaded for it to be shown on your screen.
