extending cable for battery

Just installed a peq box on my ca8 but the cable running from the gearbox is too short to reach it. Do I need to fully rewire or can I just get cable to extend it. In either case what kind of wire do I need to do this? Thanks.

You can either make up a female mini-tamiya to male mini-tamiya with a desired length of wire or get one custom from http://component-shop.co.uk/
they make up custom leads.

Go to leads/connectors -->leads and scroll to the bottom of the page.

or just move the peq box up closer to the wires...

Not an option right now, I cant source a RAS kit for the gun so the peq box is the closest im gonna get it (mounted on top rail). I've ordered a cable anyway so problem solved.
