G&G Soc16 package

I'm selling this Soc16 and everything listed with it. I bought it here on boards last Feb, I had agreed a sale on it here last Easter but it fell through. Now that's the full disclosure out of the way.

Anyway, about the gun, I've skirmished it twice since I bought it. It still is in pristine condition. It is firing bang on 1J with 0.25's.

In terms of work or upgrades. The tappet plate needed to be replaced when purchased and the spring needed to be swapped out. A guarder clear and Prommy tightbore were fitted at the same time. Using a large battery this gun has a fantastic ROF and a very impressive range.

Long range scope and mounts.
Top rail adapter.
8.4v Large Battery
M14 rifle Bag
2 High Caps
5 Mid Caps (170rd)
3 Point sling.
Original Box

Reason for sale, just not my thing and I'm making room in the gun collection for a potential new addition.

Please note that the mids are not fond of bio bb's. They feed flawlessly with non bios. I was informed of this by Airsofteire and I tested this on both occasions when I skirmished it.

Anyway, I am not interested in any trades at this time. I am willing to post but the buyer must pay half the shipping fee (€10). The buyer must pay the paypal fees in this case too. I would prefer a meetup around the Mullingar area.

The selling price (note not the haggling price ) is €380 not including fee's etc. Considering the scope etc, I believe that is a very fair price.

Hi listen I am a first time airsofter and I have a budget of 110.What ur offering beyond fair for all the stuff but to be honest im intrested im only interested in the gun and the 2 high caps.11o euro is a insult I know but Im young and money is scarce

Hi, I would think you might have better luck with a cyma/clone with your budget rather than the G&G.

I dont mean to Thread Spoil but I would check what its firing at with 0.2g BB's, As it is its over 1J with 0.2g BB.

I think you're mistaken, the energy output of the gun will be the same no matter the weight of the bb that's used.

The FPS will be higher (328 with a .20 as opposed to 294 with a 0.25) but the legal limit in Ireland is measured in Joules, it's the whole metric vs imperial measurement thing.

If you're interested in the gun I can certainly check it with 0.20's for you.

Ok, I was being polite the first time but you are completely wrong. 294fps with a 0.25 is equal to 1 joule in energy output as is 328 with a 0.20.

Now if you don't mind unless you have an interest in buying this aeg...

oOP please be clear, state the FPS with the weight bb as there seems to be some confusion here.

I'm sorry if there was a confusion caused but the law governing airsoft guns is based on the energy output of the device, that's why I always supply the reading in joules.

Anyway, the gun has chrono'd between 286 and 294 with a 0.25 bb

Anyways, now that's all out of the way, if anyone is interested in buying the gun, as opposed to trying to discuss mass vs energy :rolleyes:, the gun is still legal and now available at the price of €360 for the next 2 days only, after that I'm closing this train wreck and keeping it

The law is based on physics, I suggest you read up on it before posting something that immediately contradicts yourself.

The law says 1 joule or under, it doesn't matter if you are using a .2g bb or a 6000kg elephant - a Joule is a joule.

/discussion of this ends, any more will be considered trolling and will mean a ban.

I don't think there's much interest in this so final price drop, €290 not including the scope. Everything else will still be included.

If there's no interest in this, I'm going to withdraw from sale tomorrow eve.
