    Hi All,
    Just bought a Focus RS Mk2 in the North. I'm now all vrt'd and the whole lot so I'm thinking about getting the car detailed top to bottom so I can have a bit of piece of mind whilst driving about. As it's absolutely mint I'd like to try and keep it that way! Any ideas where I could get a good detailing done, preferably in the west but I;d be willing to travel if someone thinks it would be worth it.
    Thanks for any help,
    Paul.

    Yes, was on the site, all the products in the online shop look like the real deal so I'd hope the detailing service would be of the same quality as the products! Have you had any cars done there Corkie?

    Here's a video and some pics of a Porsche I done last week.

    We're trained and authorised by Swissvax, and use mostly Swissvax products when completing the details. You can see more pictures here - http://www.detailer.ie/portfolio.html

    That looks pretty good from over here in Mayo Seperate! I've got a white RS. I saw you have the Werkstat acrylic stuff on your site and heard it was very good for white cars. Would it be best to use this stuff or are the Swissvax products just in a different league altogether?? Basically I'm looking for a detail that puts the emphasis on long term-protection if you know what I mean.....

    I'd use Werkstat on white everytime. It looks the best, and is very durable. It's also very easy to keep the protection and shine topped up, even during the winter months.

    The basic plan would be for the car to have a good polish (paint correction), then Werkstat Acrylic Prime applied, with Acrylic Jett over. You'd then top up the Jett when it needs it every 2 - 2.5 months.

    Some white cars I've done with Werkstat used as protection;

    That looks the business alright. My RS is very clean as it is so I'm not sure if it would need too much polishing but I haven't been majorly into the detailing side of things until now so what do I know! Thanks for the info Seperate, I presume I can give you a call via the number on the website?? Would be interested in getting something done just not sure exactly what, maybe you could suggest a plan and cost via pm, but would have to organise travelling up etc... Pictures of my old and new car attached. Both great but the new one is in a different league!

    I am a huge fan of the RS in general, but like you've said, the new one is just in a different league!

    You sure can give me a shout on the number on the website, in the morning or whenever suits. I'll PM you now with some options for you to consider!

    Wow, 2 cracking cars you have (or had!) there! I loved the old mk1 focus RS, gorgeous and so rare.

    Hope Seperate doesn't mind, as I know he provides a great service, but I've had direct experience with Brian in spiritdetailing.com and I'd highly recommend him... Just another option for you.
