Hi guys. First time posting in the Motors/Motoring forum. Would really appreciate some help.

My Yaris has sprung an oil leak (now fixed) and naturally, I have spots of oil all over my driveway.

Does anyone know of one or more methods to remove engine oil from a tarmac/bitmac driveway?

    Thinners or brake cleaner.

Jizer, its a commercial degreaser and it is washes away with hot water.

Most good autofactors should stock it

    Careful,

it might dissolve the driveway itself.

Try and mop up any fresh oil stains with some saw dust or cat litter. Then use a bucket of hot water and detergent with a scrubbing brush to disperse any remaining oil. A little bit of work, but it's worked for me in the past. Using harsh solvents can break down the tarmac.
