Recommendations for a boxing fitness routine (weights and cardio)?

    Hi All,

    I was wondering if anyone could suggest or give an account of effective boxing fitness routines/excersises.

    This would be for the weights and cardio side of boxing training not the actual sparring/technique excersies.

    Regular hard shadow boxing with gloves on, three minutes hard one minutes rest.
    You can do that training anywhere which is what you need. I'v done that routine in hotel rooms while away, n out in the hall in me flat. It helps your technique if you have a mirror as well. Dont go overhard with power punches as you have nothing to resist against so you can jar your elbow/shoulder punching air hard ....
